We are currently recruiting Volunteer Social Media Content Creator.
What does a Volunteer Social Media Content Creator do?
As a Volunteer Social Media Content Creator, you’ll support people by helping them understand and address a range of issues that may be affecting their lives.
In this role, you will:
- Create and schedule social media posts for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, or LinkedIn.
- Promote Citizens Advice campaigns, local projects, events, and key messages.
- Draft simple graphics and visuals using templates (e.g., Canva).
- Monitor comments and messages and signpost queries to the correct staff member.
- Help grow our online presence by identifying engagement opportunities.
- Ensure all content follows Citizens Advice brand guidelines and confidentiality standards.
- Participate in occasional planning meetings and share creative ideas for content.

Time commitment and Training
Flexible based on your availability.
Typical expectation: 2–4 hours per week, which can be done remotely or from the office.
