Training Team Administrator Volunteer

We are excited to offer this new volunteering role.  This rewarding role involves supporting our Training Team with the day to day running of, and involvement with recruitment of new volunteers.  As a service that depends on our volunteers, the Training Team is the first point of contact for new prospective volunteers.

What will you do?

– Complete an introduction to Citizens Advice and training for your role.
– Help with the day to day running of the Training Team including (but not limited to):
    • answering initial enquiries from prospective volunteers via email and post
    • sending out and dealing with application forms, including requesting references
    • arranging introductory meetings via teams for the Training Team
    • updating training records
    • using bespoke inhouse IT systems for which training will be given

What do you need to have?

You don’t need specific qualifications or skills, but you’ll need to:

  • be friendly and approachable
  • respect views, values and cultures that are different to your own
  • have good IT skills
  • be willing to learn about and follow the Citizens Advice aims, principles and policies, including confidentiality and data protection
  • be willing to undertake training in your role

How much time should you commit?

We can be flexible about the time spent and how often you volunteer so come and talk to us.
